Ooo I like it! A kale/broccoli that's purple. I looked up a picture and it's picturesque. Really I should admonish you for introducing me to yet another plant that I must grow! Actually, I am considering abandoning my regular broccoli and focusing on kale so this is a great addition and my daughter has a thing for the colour purple.

Helene: black tomatoes are very tasty from my experience.

Never heard of it. Will come back to see the progress.
I´m growing a black Russian tomato this year and red Italian gourgettes. Will publish fotos on my blog as soon as possible. So if you like, come around.

Sounds so gorgeous! Do you have any photos? I grew Graffiti cauliflower this year, though I was reluctant to grow an F1 hybrid.

I'm interested in reading more about the progress of your broccoli. I, too, am trying an heirloom variety in my garden this year, Purple sprouting. It was recommended by Steve Solomon who has written several gardening books. The seed packet did not specify whether the seeds were for Early- or Late Purple Sprouting, so I'll be experimenting with spring and fall crops, too.
