Mid-Atlantic Garden Show

I just noticed that the PA Home Show isn’t the only gardening related event in town this weekend, as the 15th Annual Mid-Atlantic Garden Show opened on Thursday and will continue through Sunday, March 4, 2007.

The show is being held in Central Pennsylvania over at the York Expo Center. Hours are Thursday through Saturday from 10 AM to 8 PM and Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM.

Garden Show DisplayThe Mid-Atlantic Garden Show has too many gardening workshops and seminars on tap for me to list them all, but you can the complete line-up and schedule from the show’s website. Here’s a sampling of the seminars that will be presented:

  • Fruit of the Vine – A grape growing workshop presented by Dick Naylor of the Naylor Vineyards.
  • Gifts From Your Kitchen – Susanna Reppert from the Rosemary House will demonstrate how to create delicious jellies, vinegars, herbal mustards, and more using fresh ingredients right out of the garden.
