New Gardening Blog

Welcome to the new gardening blog… Veggie Gardening Tips! The name and location has changed from the Gardening Secrets site on Blogger and the new web address is http://www.veggiegardeningtips.com/.

What hasn’t changed is that I’ll continue to offer vegetable gardening ideas and information for growing a beautiful edible garden that’s loaded with interesting and ornamental plants, vegetables, fruits, herbs, and even edible flowers.

Improved features of the new gardening blog will make it easier for you to navigate the site. You’ll also find helpful gardening resources just a click away through the links provided in the columns on both sides of every page. If you have a gardening idea of your own that you’d like to share with other gardeners from around the world, take advantage of the gardening tip jar located on the left sidebar column.

If you find this organic gardening blog to be interesting and helpful, I hope you’ll tell all your gardening buddies about it. There will be additional vegetable gardening information added to the site on a weekly or daily basis. If you use a news reader you can visit the content feeds page to subscribe to the automated feeds for this site, otherwise add a link to your Favorites category and remember to check back soon to get the latest updates and to see what’s growing here.

Well, I’d better get to work on the  next vegetable gardening tip that will be posted tomorrow about Arugula, one of my favorite leafy green vegetables. Thanks for stopping by, and come back soon.

Should I put lime on my vegetable garden every spring?

  2. Kenny Point Says:

The only amendment that I would routinely add to the garden every spring is a good compost. Before adding lime to the garden test the soil PH to determine whether it is really needed.
